Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Ireland, Q2 2025

Uber - Request a ride experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.3K in early April and rising to over 5.4K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a strong upward trajectory, climbing from around 60.9K to over 91K.

For Bolt: Request a Ride, weekly downloads demonstrated a peak in mid-April at 4.3K, before stabilizing around the 3K mark in subsequent weeks. The app's weekly active users steadily increased from 13.6K to over 21.6K by the end of the quarter.

The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app showed a gradual increase in downloads, beginning at about 556 and reaching around 828 by the end of June. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 6.8K mark.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery had modest download numbers, starting at 311 and maintaining a level close to this figure throughout the quarter. Active users, however, saw a slight increase, moving from 16.5K to approximately 17.7K.

Lastly, Lyft downloads peaked at 487 in mid-April but generally hovered around the lower hundreds. Active users fluctuated between 3.7K and 5K, showing a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter.
